INCREDIBLE! If I could give this clinic a rating of 10 stars I most certainly would. My name is Maureen Blackler and I recently underwent cataract surgery and light adjustable lens implants with the talented and renowned Dr. Baig. This highly educated and experienced surgeon restored my faith in doctors, so skilled and compassionate with his constant attentiveness and communications.With 9 visits to this clinic, each one consisting of several tests and employee interventions, never once did I experience any disregard, disrespect or rudeness from any staff. Just in itself, this to me is amazing.The surgical procedure itself and follow up treatments are entirely painless and stress free, and the incredible results of perfect vision are well worth the expense.Dr. Baig, Stacey and all the other caring staff I thank you for your most attentive and professional care, and my perfect vision!

I was recently referred by my optometrist to Herzig for laser eye surgery. From the moment I checked in to the consultation until now Ive only had the best experiences. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional and keep you completely informed. There was not a single question I felt unsure about throughout the entire process. Anytime I asked for clarification or help, they were right there with a smile. I am one week post surgery and have not had any complications. Its amazing to be able to see clearly after years of glasses/contact lenses. I really am grateful for the staff and doctors that have helped me.

Having been diagnosed with both cataracts and astigmatisms, I chose the Herzig Eye Institute (Ottawa) to perform corrective surgery to remove these issues and correct my vision. This was done by a refractive lensectomy laser surgery on both eyes where refractive, continuous, multi focus lenses were replaced on both eyes (RLE).Herzig Eye Institute performed both of these surgeries with the highest level of professional competence. My experience with the Herzig Eye Institute was an excellent one. From booking my first appointment, through the assessment procedures to the surgery itself, I felt confident in every detail as each process was explained thoroughly explained to me and any questions I had were answered.Within 24 hours of my surgery I could see better than I had in 30 years with glasses. Now at five weeks past surgery, my eyesight is nothing short of a miracle. From my initial assessment to my surgery date was only 18 days. The Herzig Eye Clinic facility was immaculately clean, well organized with decorative plants and a coffee bar. In comparison to public facilities, this institute was heaven.In closing I highly recommend the Herzig Eye Institute (Ottawa) for any cataract and other optical surgical requirements.

I have had two wonderful experiences with Dr Baig. My first was in 2021 when I had my left eye done. There was no way I could wear a mask during Covid and glasses because I am so claustrophobic. And this past November I had my right eye done because I was noticing, I wasnt seeing properly. After over 50 years of wearing glasses , I have not worn prescription glasses for over four years now. It is so freeing and amazing, and no more panic attacks when I wear a mask, especially on a plane . Dr Baig and the entire team at Herzig are amazing. Hands-down the best eye exam Ive ever had. My only regret is that I didnt do this sooner.
