I signed up for a Lasik procedure with vision -4. My impression: the staff are very welcoming and friendly, everyone understood that I was worried but smiled and calmed me down, I felt support and confidence from doctors. Dr. Herzing immediately understood from my eyes that I was worried, but patted me on the shoulder and said that everything would be fine.I was also worried that I might not understand everything they were telling me since English is not my native language, but doctors explained everything very clearly, and I didnt have any questions.I can say that the whole team made me very happy with their vibe and ease of action. While I was waiting for my turn, I could watch how the laser procedure was done on other clients, but I advise you not to do this in order to be less nervous, what happens from the outside and what you feel personally are completely different things.I had surgery on both eyes at once, I was worried until the moment they put me in for surgery, then it immediately became calm. They told me what would happen, that you only need to look straight ahead. Everything is very simple. During the entire procedure there was absolutely no pain, there was a little pressure to fix the eye, it took a couple of seconds.I was worried about how not to blink my eyes, it turned out that in practice everything is very comfortable and you dont think about it at all during the process. Then everything happens like when an astronaut is launched into space Everything becomes white, then the point is clear, blurry, clear, the countdown begins and you think thats it, Im a hero! If you use a little imagination, then everything can be even funny the most important thing is that everything was completely painless.Thats it, 10 minutes and you can go home:)Based on what happened to me personally on the way home, it felt like a little menthol got into my eyes, its not a painful sensation, just unpleasant, you want to go to a dark place even with protective glasses, I arrived home, closed all the curtains, doors, everything that let in light and immediately felt more comfortable.To distract myself, I turned on my favorite audiobook and simply dripped eye drops at the right time.The next day, everything fell into place, vision is clear, there is no sensitivity to light, drip eye drops at the right time and everything will be fine!To all those who are preparing for surgery, I hope my experience has reassured you and will give you more confidence to do a step forward, make your dream come true and forget about glasses and contact lenses forever!Thank you very much to the entire team of the Herzing institute !P.S.
