I needed cataracts removed from my right eye and decided on Herzig and Dr Eubanks. On my consultation I was lucky to get a cancellation slot. This meant that the consult and pre op would take place the same day. They are very professional and thorough. They answered all my questions and I was on my way to fill the required three medicated drops. Allow two and a half hours for the consult as they have lots of measurements to take as well as review procedure and cost.On surgery day, they were on time. They have a nice waiting room for those helping you get home on surgery day. The actual surgery took under twenty minutes but I am impressed with the standard of care. They take your blood pressure a few times before the procedure and also after. They dilate your pupils and you get a local just before you begin the surgery.I feel like I am seeing now in HD!!! The colours I see now are very vibrant!!! It is one day after surgery and I am feeling fine. It did feel like I had an eyelash in my right eye yesterday after the procedure. That has pretty much gone away.I will eventually get my right eye done with DR Eubanks and the team at Herzig. They are top notch and you are in capable hands!!! Money well spent and you avoid the endless OHIP wait line!!!

I found the whole experience to be very efficient and complete. The results were above my expectations.

I had cataract surgery done on one eye so far and I was at a higher risk of complications. Dr Burrhman was absolutely amazing and the surgery was successful. Three weeks post surgery and I have had no pain or any complications so far. Dr Burrhman thank you so much. I was unable to look outside because of the light sensitivity or drive anywhere or do anything with my kids and I felt like my life stopped I wont go into too much details about my life but I would say it was extremely affected and now I can see better without glasses thanks to this amazing meticulous dr :).

The reception I received at the Herzing Eye Institute Ottawa, Canada was warm and the surgery was wonderful and successful.
