A very positive experience. Started with the initial assessment, followed by the surgery and the next day follow up with the surgeon. Would recommend Herzig Eye Institute to any one requiring eye correction treatment. To date, totally satisfied with the results of my eye correction surgery.

I had an amazing experience with Herzig and especially with Dr. Modabber. I was suffering with cataracts and my vision was fading more than I knew. When I first met with Dr.Modabber he was very kind and reassuring and let me know he would have me fixed and seeing clearer soon! I was able to get in quickly (within a month) and had my treatments over 2 days. The team throughout the process was incredible. Everyone was so helpful and calm. Its nerve-wracking to consider doing this to your eyeswhat if it doesnt workthen what? But the team are so professional, took the time to answer my questions and give me the confidence and reassurance to go ahead. It was by far, the best decision that I have made and I cannot be happier with my vision! They have turned the clocks back by at least 25 years on my eyes and now they just have to find a way to do the same with the rest of this body :)!! I highly recommend to anyone thinking of having cataract surgery to reach out to the Herzig Institute and ask for Dr. Modabber! He is the BEST!! I had the SMILE procedure done by Dr Modabber back in June 2022. My eyesight is perfect and better than 20/20. The whole procedure is easier than going to the dentist. Dr. Modabber and the HEI staff were all so kind, comforting, and answered all my questions. I cannot say thank you enough to the HEI team!

I experienced flawless care from all members of the HEI ophthalmology team at each step of the processes to treat cataracts in both my eyes. The sophisticated diagnostics/measurements and surgical techniques resulted in an almost immediate improvement in my vision after the procedures, with minimal post-op discomfort. Now, two weeks later, my vision continues to stabilize and I'm able to see clearly without using even reading glasses! I guess I'll need to change my profile photo....
