After cataract surgery one eye drop prescribed is a steroid. Steroids can increase intraocular pressure, and mine is usually higher than normal anyway. I began to have headaches throughout the day, a sign that eye pressure was great. I called Herzig, received an appointment quickly, and a thorough examination was conducted. They reduced the dose of steroid drops and added another drop to my usual Rx. I received follow-up appointment, and a week later headaches were gone, eye pressure normal. Finally, there is the end-of-month appointment that every cataract patient receives. Herzig's staff cares.
