Writing this 2 weeks post-op SMILE surgery with no complications and 20/20 vision: 10/10 experience from start to finish and would recommend everyone considering SMILE to choose Herzig eye clinic and Dr. Modabber! Right from my very first visit to the clinic, they were so friendly and thorough! Im the type of person to ask a 1000 questions and all of my questions were patiently and thoroughly answered by the optometrist and it made me feel reassured that I was choosing the right procedure and right clinic to do this. On the surgery day, they explained post-op instructions very clearly and provided all the things I will need after - eye drops, eye shields etc. Then I met Dr. Modabber so he could do an eye exam and answer any questions I have prior to surgery. So he did another thorough eye exam on top of the clinics previous one and answered a couple more questions I had. I was feeling really nervous at this point, and he reassured me multiple times that everything would go well. When you first go into the surgery room, there are clinic staff there who anesthetize your eyes and prep you for surgery, and they were the sweetest people ever, so warm and friendly! They even gave me a stress ball to squeeze during the surgery since I was nervous. Then, during the surgery, Dr. Modabber was continually communicating and letting me know my eyes were doing well and everything was going just as he expected which rlly helped me feel calm and relaxed as the surgery was progressing. After the procedure was over, Dr. Modabber did another eye exam to confirm everything is ok and I was sent home! 2 weeks later, now, I followed their eye drop schedule and rested and everything has healed with no complications! Reading the other reviews online are what helped me determine if I wanted this procedure, so wanted to add my experience now too - if youre thinking of SMILE, you should definitely do it here with Dr. Modabber! My only regret is not doing it sooner! Thank you to Herzig Eye Institute for everything!

I had my cataracts removed by Dr. Sabeti. I am very satisfied with the results. My vision is now 20/20. My first comment that came to mind is that my vision was in 3D and the colours in high definition. I have to say that everyone at the clinic were very professional and ready to answer any questions I had.

I found Herzig after I was recommended by my local eye doctor. The staff, as well as, the doctors were accommodating in explaining to me the different procedures regarding vision restoration. I elected to go with the SMILE procedure. The surgery only lasted 10 minutes. Post-operation, I was instructed on what steps I needed to take for eye care. The following day, I was able to go back to work, drive, and continue my day-to-day activities. It's worth the time and money. Thank you, Herzig.
