I did a consultation at 5 different clinics and Herzig stood out. Their testing, examinations and explanations were very thorough and comprehensive. They made me feel comfortable and never pressured. In the end I wasnt the ideal candidate for LASIK or SMILE. I appreciate Herzig being honest instead of wanting to take my money like other clinics were eager to do. Ill be recommending family and friends to get consults here.

I did SMILE on both my eyes by Dr. Baig on 12 Jan, 2024. And I am very much satisfied with my overall experience here.I had -6 and -6.5 in my eyes resp. I could only see things clearly which were very close to my eyes with bare eyes. And very bad far vision. So I decided to do LASIK. My optometrist recommended two private clinics for doing LASIK eye surgery. I did some research on both kind of procedures provided by those two institutes and felt like SMILE is the safest way to do it if I have to do it. So Herzig it is.The preliminay consultations are free and they do a lot of checkups for your eyes - including vision, eye pressure , cornea thickness etc. My consultant was Dr. Noor. He assured me I was a perfect candidate for SMILE.The next step was to choose my surgeon, I went with Dr. Baig as I have found he has a good experience in doing SMILE. And also good reviews.On the day of surgery, I met him and he was friendly, he explained me the procedure very well and assured me nothing to be scared of.The surgery took place 10-15 minutes. I was out with perfectly good vision. I was able to see my husband without my glasses lol, which felt great.Herzig provided me with guidelines for treating the eyes for the following days including a kit with all the necessary drops, sunglasses for protection, protection to wear during the night when going to sleep.The SMILE package also included 3 follow ups - The next day of the surgery, 1 week later and 1 month later. The first follow up is with Herzig itself. Dr. Noel did my follow up and checked everything was okay and answered whatever questions I had. The other 2 follow-ups are to be scheduled with my optometrist. I had the 1 week follow up with my optometrist just yesterday and she told me everything looks good.Note: dry eyes after surgery is very common which all the doctors tell you no matter what. And I also see glares at night in the street lights and headlights, which the doctors told me is gonna get better over time.

Had an extremely strong prescription and Herzig recommend ICL surgery. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was nervous over nothing, the procedure was quick and painless and I walked out the door no longer needing glasses. Recovery was quick, I was comfortably back at work 2 days later. 6 months since surgery my only complaint is some lights give a slight halo when driving at night but eye drops were recommended to prevent that.
