Some private insurers offer coverage for vision correction procedures. Herzig Eye Institute does not direct bill to insurance providers; however, we can provide a medical note that can be submitted to your 3rd party insurance provider.

Herzig Eye Institute offers financing for patients through 3rd party providers (Medicard & Affirm), with terms up to five years. It’s simple, fast, and convenient with payment plans to suit your budget. Your Refractive Consultant can provide you with more information either during our following your consultation.

  • Affirm offers 0% APR for 12 months on $1000+ purchases in addition to 18 and 24 month plan options. Subject to eligibility. Terms apply.
  • Medicard is available for terms up to five years. It’s simple fast and convenient with payment plans to suit your budget.

Payment for a vision correction procedure is an eligible medical expense on your Canadian tax return. Please check with your tax advisor.
