With a choice of laser surgery or blade to repair my right eye cataract, I chose laser because Dr. Herzig said he may be able to correct my astigmatism at the same time. It worked. My right eye is cataract-free, and I have 20:20 vision. Thank You!

I have always had a fear of anything to do with messing with eyes, which is why I spent 15 years telling myself Id get laser eye surgery, but never even went for a consultation. However, with how much I dislike using contact lenses for work and our daughters condition causing me to have to buy new glasses every few weeks for the past few years, I finally made an appointment for a consultation. I met with Dr. Modabber, who isnt just charm and movie star looks. He was genuine, knowledgeable, and truly understood my fears. I ended up opting for ICLs with Monovision. I was a little nervous on the day of surgery, but in the end, I had nothing to worry about. Everything went smoothly and painlessly. Dr. Modabber talked me through the whole thing and it was actually kind of a cool little light show. Now, its been 2 months since surgery and its been a game changer, especially with my kids. Oh, and I got a Christmas e-mail from Dr. Modabber, which was unexpected. I truly cant recommend Herzig and Dr. Modabber enough. I wish I had not waited 15 years, but in the end, life works as it does, which is something... I see clearly now. Hahaha!
