SMILE
Laser Vision Correction
SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) is a minimally invasive procedure for correcting myopia (nearsightedness) and astigmatism. Compared to Custom LASIK and PRK, SMILE is flap-free and typically painless, requiring only a small incision in the cornea. During the procedure, a precise lenticule of tissue is created and gently removed, reshaping the cornea to correct vision. This small-incision approach may support a faster recovery and a reduced risk of certain post-operative complications.

Laser Vision Correction
Custom LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) is an advanced vision correction procedure used to treat myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism. The procedure involves the precise creation of a thin corneal flap, allowing the underlying corneal tissue to be carefully reshaped to correct vision. Once the flap is repositioned, it begins healing naturally, contributing to a predictable recovery process. Most patients experience rapid visual stabilization and report little to no discomfort following Custom LASIK.

La PRK personnalisée (kératectomie photoréfractive) est une procédure réalisée pour corriger la myopie (myopie), l’hypermétropie (hypermétropie) et l’astigmatisme, adaptée aux patients ayant des cornées fines ou lorsqu’elle est jugée l’option la plus sûre. Plutôt que de créer un lambeau ou une incision, la couche la plus externe de tissu cornéen est retirée afin que la cornée puisse être remodelée pour corriger la vision.

Intraocular Collamer Lens (EVO ICL) is a procedure performed to correct high degrees of myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism. Unlike laser-based vision correction, the EVO ICL procedure does not involve re-shaping the cornea. The EVO ICL is made of a soft biocompatible material which is placed inside the eye just behind the iris and in front of the natural lens.
