I had been putting off corrective eye surgery out of fear, but when cataracts were found in both my eyes, I decided it was time. Every option was clearly explained to me, what OHIP covers and does not. Each procedure was explained to me, and I was able to make the best decision for my needs. I am fortunate and thankful, as with any surgery, regardless of skill and knowledge, there is always a risk and never a guarantee, these were also explained to me.I did not, ever feel pressured to go with one procedure over another. From the initial eye exams to my post-op appointment, the entire team was welcoming, encouraging, extremely professional, and kind. Wait times were next to none, which was pretty nice!Everything was explained in detail, my fears were heard, and I felt respected.My surgery was a few days ago, it is so amazing to be able to see clearly. The entire surgical team was so positive, helping me through my anxiety.Special thanks to Dr. Baig, an incredibly skilled surgeon, I felt I was in the best hands.

I knew right from the beginning that I only wanted to visit Herzig Eye Institute based off the amazing feedback my previous employer and her patients had to say about the clinic. I have no regrets and Dr. Modabber truly made me feel less anxious about the whole process starting from the consultation to the day of my procedure. The environment is very warm and welcoming and the staff are friendly and professional. I see better than 20/20 and it feels awesome to know that I wont have to worry about remembering to place another order for contacts or wear my glasses anymore. Thank you so much Dr. Modabber and the rest of Herzigs staff!!
