Fumbling for Glasses is not an option when split-second reactions are needed.

Rain, Wind and Fog create hazards for people with eyeglasses or contact lenses.  Moving in and out of different environments can cause the sudden fogging of lenses. Strong wind can blow out a contact lens or tear glasses away.

Strict Criteria for Vision Correction.

NASA recently approved laser vision correction using IntraLase^® for their astronauts because it offers a far-reduced chance of halos and glare in night vision. Older methods of LASIK (still in use at other vision centres) have a much higher incidence of night vision problems.

Our goal for patients in these High Performance Occupations is to safely eliminate their need for eyeglasses. This fits with our criteria for High Definition Vision^®, our philosophy of only recommending a vision correction procedure which promises the best possible results for our patients.
