It's All About YOUR Vision - Your Unique Eyes!
It's a fact...laser vision correction is one of the most exciting technological advances in the history of eye care. In fact, the word "LASIK" has come to almost represent a generic term for vision correction. The problem is, not everyone is a good LASIK candidate because no two eyes are exactly alike. LASIK may not be the ideal corrective approach for you. This doesn't necessarily mean that we can't help. We have several options to choose from. Finding the right solution for your eyes is just a thorough, complimentary consultation away.
Our trademarked High Definition Vision® system means that you will always get the best available technology operated by world class surgeons at the Herzig Eye Institute. Unlike other companies, we won't "bait and switch" you, attempting to luring you in with low-priced and out-dated procedures, only to up-sell you to a more advanced option. We only offer the most advanced proven options. Our fees are all inclusive and simple to understand and always include the Herzig Life Time Commitment.

Surgeons at the Herzig Eye Institute have performed laser vision corrections since 1991. All of our laser procedures are performed with an excimer laser, which combines argon and fluoride gases to produce a "cool", ultra-violet light. Your surgeon uses the computer-guided excimer laser to gently alter the shape of your cornea through a series of ultra precise pulses. It does not cut or burn. Each pulse removes a remarkable 39 millionths of an inch in 12 billionths of a second! This technology is so exacting, it is approved by NASA and the U.S. Air Force for astronauts, pilots and field personnel.
There are two ways of utilizing this extraordinary technology, PRK and LASIK. Both procedures are performed by an ophthalmologist specializing in laser vision correction.
Other Vision Correction Options
Laser vision correction may not be the appropriate approach for people who have refractive errors that are too large or those with certain eye conditions. Following a thorough and comprehensive consultation, the Herzig Eye Institute may suggest two other types of corrective treatment: Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) and Intraocular Collamer Lens (ICL) Insertion.
